Guinot Training and Development Executive Nicola Pringle talks to us about Crème Nutrition Confort, a repairing moisturiser for dry skin.
What is Dry Skin?
Dry skin lacks oil and will feel uncomfortable. Often, you'll get peeling and flaking, and your skin will lack radiance and also feel rough to texture as well.
Dry skin can be due to hormonal imbalances, people that work outdoors and are exposed to the elements and different temperatures, but also, it can be hereditary as well. It's when the skin is insufficiently producing oil.
Why is Creme Nutrition Confort good for Dry Skin?
Creme Nutrition Confort is a nourishing, protecting moisturiser and it has a lovely rich texture that a dry skin will benefit from. It contains essential oils as well of lavender, rosemary and thyme so it adds a beautiful fragrance on application.
When can I use it?
You can use this product AM and PM, morning and evening, just a dry pea-sized amount and, again, really massaging it into the skin for that instant comfort.
Can I use it if I have Sensitive Skin?
The best moisturiser for sensitive skin would be the Creme Hydra Sensitive. For some of that's environmentally sensitised, it would be the Crème Protection Réparatrice, so yeah, the Crème Nutrition Confort would be more suitable for that dry, uncomfortable skin that has that peeling, that flaking, but not particularly sensitivity.
